Preemie Halloween Costumes

Our customers have requested that we make Halloween Costumes for the preemies in the NICU. This is a bit of a challenge because whatever we make cannot interfere with the care of the babies. After several tries we think we have come up with something that will work! A bib and hat combination. We have three styles to choose from a pumpkin, a ghost and a cat. As time goes by we will develop more styles but this looks like what will be available this year! Here they are:

The Cat

The Pumpkin

The Ghost

It's a Girl!

We went for the ultrasound last week. I got to go! It's a GIRL!!! I was so excited to get this "first look" at the newest grandbaby. She looks just like Elliot. We have a profile of her and Elliot from the exact same angle and they both have the exact same profile. (I will post them when the kids send me a copy.) It means that she will be a cute as Elliot!

I have already started the blessing gown and several other things are "in the works." Every little girls should be dressed like a princess and I will make sure that is the case with our beautiful granddaughter to be. I promise to post the gowns and layettes.

The best news of all is that the cord is completely fine!!! The baby is perfect and there are no problems that they could see - which is such good news. I cannot describe to you how grateful we all are that everything looks good. She is now 23 weeks along and is due on January 14th. More than half way!
